Security is being tightened in Bangkok and nearby provinces following a tip-off about possible car bomb attacks later this month, a senior police officer says.

Ten arrested following car bomb warning
On 11 October 2016, over a hundred riot police officers raided an apartment in Ramkhamhaeng District, Bangkok, following a report that three car-bombs may be set off in Bangkok during 25-30 October, reported the Manager Online.
According to the Manager Online, 10 suspects were arrested from an apartment in Soi Ramkhamhaeng 53 in the early morning. Surachet Hakphan, the spearhead of the operation, said that the operation was part of the junta’s national security measures, adding the 10 suspects already have arrest warrants and criminal records. http://bangkokjac...ideo-raid/
