Thailandske gidsler er frigivet
Ti thailandske gidsler og en filippiner er blevet frigivet af den militante palæstinensiske gruppe Hamas i Gaza.
Det siger Majed al-Ansari, som er talsmand for Qatars udenrigsministerium.
Tidligere fredag oplyste Thailands premierminister, Srettha Thavisin, at det drejede sig om 12 thailandske statsborgere.
Men Qatar, der forhandler direkte med Israel og Hamas, siger, at der er tale om ti thailændere og en filippiner.
Frigivelsen af de 11 asiatiske statsborgere sker som resultat af en separat aftale med Hamas.
Ifølge Reuters' oplysninger vil flere thailandske gidsler blive frigivet de kommende dage.

Twenty-four hostages have been released by Hamas and are now back in Israel.
Among them are 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and one Filipino, says Qatar, which has been mediating negotiations between Israel and Hamas.
The Israelis include four children - aged two, four, six and nine - as well as an 85-year-old woman.
Palestinian women and teenagers held by Israel have also been released to the West Bank as part of the deal.

Israelsk militær: Fire thailændere er også blevet løsladt
Ud over de 13 israelske gidsler, der her til aften er blevet løsladt, er også fire thailændere blevet frigivet.
Endnu fire thailændere er blevet udvist af Hamas, angiveligt fordi de var ved at æde dem ud af huset:o

The Hamas group released another four Thai workers from their captivity yesterday, according to a statement made by Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Kanchama Patarachoke today. The announcement was based on a report from the Thai embassy in Tel Aviv.

Freed Thai hostages arrive in Bangkok

Thai hostages freed by Hamas have arrived in Bangkok alongside the foreign minister, said Asia correspondent Cordelia Lynch.
The group of 17 have another five or six-hour journey home to the northeast of Thailand, she added.
A total of 23 Thais have been freed from Gaza, said Lynch, while nine are believed to remain captive.
The families of those freed have been "grappling with a lack of information. Now they know they are going to have their loved ones in their arms by this evening", said Lynch.
Many of those released were working as farmers in Israel when Hamas attacked on 7 October, she explained.
Explained: Thai hostages were released under a separate agreement to the truce between Israel and Hamas.
It was worked on in official and unofficial capacities by Thai officials, the Thai Muslim group Thai-Iran Alumni Association, Iran and Qatar, with Hamas reporting Turkey was also involved.
