Sukhumvit Road was eerily quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime this week. Hard to believe that this was once one of the busiest tourist spots in all of Asia. Now it's bordering on silent. Even though Sukhumvit still sparks up a bit on a Saturday night, the area has lost its buzz without the tourism industry... and it's gonna be a long time before Bangkok gets it back again.
