The Five Nos are: no huge water guns; no alcoholic drinks; no powder; no over-exposure dress and no excessive use of water.
On top of that, there will be no entertainment activities during the festival. This means that loud music and dancing on the back of pickup trucks will be prohibited.

Undskyld,- men er der lavet om på dato eller.......??
For den officielle kalender siger:
13-14-15 : Songkran / วันสงกรานต์
The "SONGKRAN" festival happens during the hot season in mid- April. This festival happens in all Buddhist "THEREVADA" countries, i.e. Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Burma (Myanmar). Songkran is the ancient New Year's Day. Now the official New Year's Day happens on the 1st January. But the most popular feast in Thailand is still "SONGKRAN".
Her er mere om "Songkran" fra kalenderen:

33 dead, 420 injured on first day of Songkran holiday
Speaking at the centre for the prevention and reduction of road accidents of the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department, Lt Gen Thanes Kalpruek said there were 409 road accidents reported nationwide on Tuesday.

Påsketid er meget andet end at puste æg og spise påskefrokoster.
Højtiden bliver fejret verden over på mange forskellige måder.
I nogle områder vil festlighederne fortsætte måneden ud.

Buddha statue returned to temple after Songkran festivities
Following the end of the Thai New Year festival, the main Buddha statue at a temple in Nong Khai, Thailand was ushered from an event venue back to the main chapel where it belongs.
The statue was moved in a circumambulatory path around the temple on two long wooden beams carried by hundreds of participants.
Those who observed the event poured water on the statue as a gesture of respect, and also on those who carried the beams.
For years, this statue along with others from the temple were carried around the district during the Songkran festival from April 13 to 18 for residents to pour water on them.
