Phuket's annual Goat Fair trotted into Cherng Talay recently to wow the locals with some of the sexiest beasties ever to grace the race course. Even Governor Nisit got in on some of goat tickling action, while the kids taking care of the kids proved they really knew their goats.

Run over three days, the fair featured beautiful goat contests and races as well as free workshops of farmers to help them take better care of their beasties. It wasn't all goats, of course, with buffalo battles and cow kerfuffles also on the bill and, for those not goatly inclined, there were also quite a lot of vegetables.

And when all with horns had had enough of performing for the crowds, it was the turn of the local ladies, who carried their smelly fruit with pride in the... Durian-athlon. -
