PHUKET: Patong beach fell just the way all the other Phuket beaches have fallen, without a shot being fired.
The invasion began at 9am. Soldiers with rifles strolled among the bikini babes, creating incongruous images.
The vendors hastened to pull down their stalls. Loungers and umbrellas were being loaded onto trucks.

Surin Beach Since The Military Coup in Phuket, Thailand
There have been dramatic changes to the beaches of Phuket since the military has taken control on the country. The beaches have been given back to the people with luxury beach clubs and even smaller beach huts removed. Beaches in Thailand are public and everyone deserves the chance to enjoy them! What a change!

hvis det er de såkaldte strande, du tænker på så kommer rengørings turen også til dem, når hæren er færdig i Phuket
Hæren er i gang i bade byen, hvor det er Taxi og spillesteder der står for tur
