Santa Cause first started in Dec.2011 when a community of friends decided to spread some love to families in flood affected slum communities, sending gifts and Xmas joy to over 1,000 children. This year we're due for a remake and we need your support
Description
What is Santa Cause?
Santa Cause is a Christmas flashmob organised under the umbrella of bangkokvanguards — a company with a charitable cause founded by four close friends, on a mission to create unique local Thailand travel experiences that inspire community-driven change.
The event aims to simultaneously visit various low-income communities in and around Bangkok. We want to surprise the locals
and brings joy and gifts to the children. :)

This year Santa Cause will be on Dec 15 & 16th. We'll meet at Central World Plaza, outside by the big Christmas tree at 9am.

|| What's your goal?
We would like to bring people together from all cultures, religions, ages and social backgrounds to reach out to the children in Bangkok's forgotten communities. We want send out a positive signal to the public to inspire people to care more for others and make this event a collective endeavor to promote positive human interaction.

Julemandens hær.
Det er et rigtigt godt projekt. :TUP
Glæde en masse dejlige unger, som har brug for en hjælpende hånd.
Mange undersøgelser påviser. At hjælpe andre, så hjælper man selvfølgelig også sig selv mest.
Så mød op, giv jer selv mulighed, for en superfantastisk oplevelse.
Man kan selvfølgeli også nøøjes med penge-donation.

Mange af de lokale skønheder, som hjælper med som nisser. Er super søde piger, med hjertet det rette sted.

Help us create an awesome Christmas flashmob to spread out to Bangkok's forgotten communities and surprise the children there. Invite your friends, donate a little gift and make the rest of 2012 awesome. Thailand has had enough of crowds that were associated with trouble it's time to set a different example. Join us for the Santa Cause.
START: 9am for registration and gift-wrapping under the big x-mas tree outside of Central World, than we spread out to the communities.

They also need volunteers to help wrap gifts on Saturday and Sunday at 9am, and drop them to families in slums. On both days the "Christmas mob" will gather at a central location and be divided into various teams.
Each team leader dresses as Santa Clause and is supported by a platoon of 10-15 elves and reindeer or volunteers wearing Christmas hats. The teams are given plenty of gifts, ideas for activities and directions to the assigned community and then depart at 10.30am.
Last year Santa Cause brought gifts, smiles and lots of positive energy to 1,000 children and their families in over 20 slum communities in Bangkok. And this year the project hopes to reach 2,000 children and their families in over 30 slums.
So far, Santa Cause have mapped over 120 potential low-income communities to which they would like to send volunteer Santa, elf and reindeer platoons and the more support they get, the more children they can reach.
Everyone is invited to help raise donations among their friends, colleagues and relatives (cash donations and/or gifts) so that Santa Cause can finance logistics and buy gifts (toys, clothes and stationery) for the children.
Santa Cause was initiated in Christmas 2011 as a response to the flood crisis. Bangkok Vanguard volunteers decided to reach into flood-affected slum communities to bring Christmas gifts and seasonal cheer to the people there. The response was immensely positive among the people as well as the volunteers and an annual campaign was born
