Join Megan as she discovers the world's largest wooden castle, the Sanctuary of truth.
The Sanctuary of Truth museum takes you on a journey of the seven truths of life, and every room has a story. Construction began back in 1981, and is still ongoing today. Made entirely of carefully hand-carved wood, by ancient Thai craftsmanship techniques to eliminate the use of nails.

You can also sit down with the carpenters and try your hand at wood carving with their team. Helmets must be worn at all times inside the museum and are provided free of charge, and appropriate dressing is essential.
The Sanctuary of Truth is now open in the evening, offering night tours with beautiful views of the museum in a different light.

The Sanctuary of Truth is an unfinished museum in Pattaya, Thailand designed by Thai businessman Lek Viriyaphan.
The museum structure is a hybrid of a temple and a castle that is themed on the Ayutthaya Kingdom and of Buddhist and Hindu beliefs. The building is notably constructed entirely out of wood!
