Patong readies for ’Phuket Carnival’
PHUKET: Patong Municipality is asking people to avoid the main roads at southern end of Patong and the Patong beach road (Thaweewong Rd) this Friday evening (Dec 8) as the annual parade of the now-branded ‘Phuket Carnival’ is held to mark the official start of the tourism high season.
The parade will begin at the southern end of Phra Metta Rd and make its traditional route along Prachanukroh Rd towards Patong
Beach, where it will continue along the beach road to the beach end of Bangla Rd r10; where the main festivities will be held during the
three-day carnival.
