Tourists now will be allowed to visit the Temple of Emerald Buddha and parts of the Grand Palace starting on November 1.
Tourists will be allowed to have sight-seeing tour of the temple and the section of Grand Palace from 8am to 4pm via the Wiset Chaisri Gate like in the normal situation.
Mourners, who want to pay personal respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, will enter the Grand Palace through the Manee Nopparat Gate and leave via Wiman Thewes and Thewa Bhirom gates.
Those who want to pay respects to the King after 4pm, must enter the Grand Palace via Wiset Chaisri Gate.
Traffic police have prepared measures to cope with some 200 tour buses that are expected to arrive each day to take tourists to visit the Grand Palace.
The buses must park in front of the Royal Hotel and in front of the old Government Lottery Office.
