So today we are down in Phuket town taking a First look at the 2022 Vegetarian Festival otherwise known as the Nine Emperor Gods festival which runs from the 25th Sept 22 until the 4th Oct 22.
Today is the opening ceremony of the festival which includes The raising of the Gauteng Pole at Jui Tui Shrine 'Temple' just off Ranong rd.
The vegetarian festival isn't just about food, far from it but as the name suggests the food on offer is vegetarian and vegan which we shall take a look at later in the week we will also be looking at the amazing street parades that take place during this great festival.
