Ambassaden oplever for tiden en kraftig stigning i visumansøgninger til Danmark

Vi er klar over, at det kan virke som en stor opgave, at indlevere en visumansøgning. Derfor har vi forsøgt, at give et overblik over, hvordan man søger om et visum.

Vi vil i de kommende dage også forsøge, at give svar på de mest stillede spørgsmål ambassaden modtager i forhold til visumansøgninger.

1-- På https://applyvisa... starter du med at udfylde din ansøgning. Derefter betales visumgebyret og du printer din kvittering for betaling og dit ”cover letter/ansøgning”.

2-- Herefter kigger du på vores dokumenttjeklister, finder den tjekliste der gælder for dig og forbereder den nødvendige dokumentation, der senere skal indleveres hos vores partner VFS
lobal.

3--Du laver herefter en aftale med VFS Global i Bangkok. Det gør man via deres hjemmeside: https://visa.vfsg...ha/en/dnk/

4-- På den aftalte dag, medbringer og indleverer du alle de påkrævede dokumenter fra tjeklisten plus dit ”cover letter/ansøgning” og kvittering for betalt gebyr, hos VFS Global.

5-- Her medbringer du også det invitations-ID som værten har modtaget, hvis der er lavet en online invitation.
Laver værten ikke en online invitation skal værten printe et fysisk invitationsskema og vedlægge dette de andre dokumenter som du medbringer hos VFS.

6--Herefter sendes alle dokumenterne fra VFS Global til den danske ambassade i Bangkok, som vil behandle ansøgningen. Når der er truffet en afgørelse bliver du kontaktet af VFS Global for at få dit pas retur.

How to apply for a visa to Denmark?

1-- At https://applyvisa... you can fill in your application and pay the visa fee. You then print your receipt for payment and your "cover letter / application".

2-- Now take a look at our document checklists. Find the checklist that applies to you and prepare the necessary documentation, which you will later submit to our partner VFS Global.

The checklists can be found on our website: https://thailand....formation? under the tab "checklists - visa applications".

3-- Make an appointment with VFS Global in Bangkok. This can be done via their website: https://visa.vfsg...ha/en/dnk/

4-- On the day of your appointment, you will go to VFS Global to hand in all the required documents from the checklist along with your "cover letter / application" and the receipt for your visa fee payment.

5-- Here you also bring the invitation-ID that the host has received, if an online invitation has been made.
If the host does not make an online invitation, the host must print a physical invitation form and add it to the other documents that you bring with you to VFS.

6-- Now all the documents from VFS Global are sent to the Danish embassy in Bangkok, which will process the application. Once a decision has been made, you will be contacted by VFS Global to get your passport returned.
