This week's column: Saigon Wanderings

Sometimes I feel like I'm in a bad marriage, and Bangkok is my wife. As fun and exciting as she may be, from time to time I find myself looking elsewhere.

And when my eyes wander, it is Miss Saigon that grabs my attention. But are Miss Saigon and I compatible? Is she potentially the perfect wife, offering me all that I am looking for and more? Or is she more like a Pattaya hooker - sexy and seductive, but suitable for nothing more than a short-term fling?

This week I escaped to Saigon to spend a little more time with her.
